I agree intelli. Most people will just ignore new players (me too sometimes) and yet complain about lack of people. However, Is there any possible way we could attract more people?

having less lag when there's 70+ people on would help.

Also chat seems to get a bit spammed up when there's too many people on.

I like minerealm, I think a good way to make the server more populated is to make predetermined spawn points every 5,000x5,000 blocks from each other (4 main spawn points), and have the newbie spawn be randomized between the preset spawn points.

And to reduce chat spam, have the regular chat only chat-able within the spawn party you're in, and /all would be the all chat option which everyone can see.

I'm all up for donor rewards. More donors is a good thing. But obviously it can't be something silly, no advantages over others, for example... Just perks.

This is probably a bad idea, but I've always thought it would be cool if donors could check who placed blocks, like mods can. Not going to happen, but that'd be awesome, eh?

Actually this sounds like a benefit that would be perfect for Donors. It offers no in-game benefit other than information. Probably not going to happen though since Intelli would have to be 100% sure that it's safe to use and that someone couldn't hurt the server by spamming the block check function.
