You know I was holding my tougne but I had too. You claim to knwo what your talking about which you obviously don't especially coming from you who's admitted several times using a transparent pack. With a transparent pack YOU CANNOT select what you want to see through it's prebuilt so whatever it comes with can't be changed at will. A xray mod is the opposite hence why a xray mod is worse because it allows anything to be see through. Plus a transparent pack isn't toggable you have to keep switching it with a regular one whereas the xray allows you to toggle on and off with and texture pack. For someone who uses a transparent pack you need to learn what the hell you are talking about.

they actually can be changed. all you have to do is open the texture pack folder and erase what you want transparent, keep what you dont

Then I stand corrected, I would have no clue to that since I don't use them I used one once in single player, and thought what's the point it ruins the whole point of the game so I got rid of it. Thanks for correcting me dragon I still would find that pointless since you would have to do that everytime.

what i did is just make every useless block (dirt, stone, gravel, etc.) transparent with a thin line around the edge for identification, so i dont have a need to edit it.

Wow people still talking on this post! I made this months ago, if you wanna hide from transperant packs bury your chests, it's that simple & yeah you can make anything you want transperant or even highlight items, in the texture file just erase or color something pink

Please no talk about how you make your transparent texture packs. We don't want to endorse people using these.
