whats up with the sever i was able to get on fine eariler but now it freezes at the logging in screen like it does when right after my connection times out. I was just wondering if its updating or something, if someone could reply that would b great

It's not just you, the same thing is happening to me except it doesn't freeze, it just takes a while.
EDIT: fix'd the second after I posted this...
EDIT: It appears to have broken again soon after I logged on.

I'm having the same problem... I get to the 'Downloading Terrain' screen and then minecraft crashes D:
