We had PVP and TNT up until 3.0.

The return of PvP to the wilderness would be nice; I haven't seen anyone in the nether in far too long.

TnT is probably a bad idea. I'm a nice person, but even I would have TnT traps in newly built "noob farms". I can also see cannons becoming a serious harassment issue..... And now I realize why Kress wants TnT.

TnT would be nice to use. Also Kress, that video is obsolete. I've subed and see it before.

I've heard several people saying in chat that the update will be happening this Monday (which makes sense, since last I heard that was also Jeb's best estimate for the 1.8 release). Any decisions on a precise time when the final backup will happen for the current map?

The far lands are prohibitively far. Even in the nether, you'd spend way too much time simply travelling.
