Some have claimed that the end of the world for MineRealm is at hand due to both the willing departure of some of our players and the bannings of various others. I, however, disagree with that notion:

The only plug in that Intelli has that many people have is the one he wrote himself which is the /co inspect plug-in. The realms system is private as he coded it himself.

If it turns out the end is at hand, the true harbinger of doom is the fact that Magerman began writing in complete sentences with correct spelling and grammar. :lol:

If people post a mature and respectful argument it won't be deleted.

All the posts that were previously posted on this thread and were deleted were very respectful. Luelle, Pan, and a few others approached the situation in a very mature and non-threatening way and had their posts deleted and some of their accounts IP banned from the forums.

it really bothers me that most of us who were playing on TF yesterday when intelli came on who were current active players of MR are all well respected, law abiding, friendly, respectful players who were loyal to MR and intelli. we just wanted to play some of the time here with old friends and play on a new map with jungles and such. we were still very active on MR and we were currently working on spiffing up abyssus... we actually got it to 3rd place on the realm list instead of allowing us to play on both, he forces us to choose? really? why? there is enough time in my day for both... i play alot :p

we weren't recruited, nor did we recruit. several of us talk on skype regularly and we wanted to try it out and see who was here. even since the bans and i have been talking in skype to others, i have not once tried to lure players away. i actually warned them that they will be banned if the come here. plane has only been respectful regarding MR and intelli. he even told me afterward that he would have made changes if intelli would have asked him.

this all makes me sad, i would have continued to play on both servers. i am glad i still have the connections to the friends that i have met here on MR, to me it is more than just a map. or even a server. sorry it ended this way. i have a lot of good memories. <3

Would it be possible for you to unban and apologize to all the people that had no clue they would be banned? It is a very sad to see vets and overall great members being banned without proper warning.

Honestly they've just got to appeal. The conditions are don't play on that server again and you will be unbanned.

That would have been acceptable if we were warned beforehand. now that there is a official thread about it, its understandable. So I am suggesting all those that were banned before that thread be unbanned right away.

Ok, I'm with Tiger on this one guys.

First of all, all of these bannings are unfair and unjust. I wish for Intelli to unban all those that went on TF, without knowing the repercussions of going on said server. But knowing that won't happen I just wish give my best regards to those who were banned, and I wish them a great future.

Second of all. Intelli is overreacting in my opinion. I mean no disrespect when I say this though. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever that I should not play on a server to keep up with some old friends that were banned. Every time I picture this scenario, I think of a gang type of scene.

Like, you're in this gang and you can go hangout with your friends from other neighborhoods, except this one. You go near this one and we shoot you. Now you can come crawling back to us, but we may or may not let you live. You're loyal to this gang, not that one.
Now let me get this right. This is a GAME I should be able to do what I want to be able to have the most fun. Not to make sure I don't do this, so I don't get shunned from a server that has grown near and dear to my own heart, as I'm sure many others'.

I just don't understand what the big deal is if he (PlanePhanatic) "Ripped off" Intelli's idea. Its not an exact copy, it very well may be a "Cheap Knock off" of his plugins. So? If its not exactly it, then I don't see the problem. If I were Intelli, I'd just kinda laugh and shrug and say "Yeah, you can go on their crappy server, but mine is better and you will be back." Instead of saying "I don't want you to go on this server because I fear you'll like it more and my reputation will be tarnished as a server administrator."

Again, I mean absolutely no disrespect to the admins/mods/players, banned or not. I'm just simply stating my opinion, which I hope is okay here.

I'm not disrespectful but intelli is a little afraid that we,were leaving to the other server but intelli you actually made players who didn't think of leaving leave now because of this so you actually created the problem all by yourself.

The issue is that they were advertising their server by PM'ing our server members via our forums, as well as via /msg in-game. The fact that it's a cheap rip-off clone of our server is only part of the problem.

If they were willing to find their own players, then I wouldn't care.

Anyways, if you want to be a part of that, that's your choice. But this is clearly an issue where you can only support one side - not both.
