The main problem is that when a plot is created, other members of the plot cannot contribute to helping the city grow. Eventually a city would just grow into a massive space of random plots of land owned by random people, which I think really kills the flow of a city. Here are my suggestions/options:
- Make it so you can GIFT credits to a plot leader, and therefore eliminating the random plots, owned by random people.
-Go back to the Realm system, but obviously make some changes. Such as visitors ON at all times, and a few other changes.
-Members inside a city/plot/realm can chose to either spend their credits on a plot of their own PERSONAL land OR spend credits towards CITY land that would be owned by everyone within the city. This would also eliminate random plots owned by random people within a city.
Dan, I and the rest of the MineRealm community really appreciate the hard work you have put into this new system. We understand you just want to make the experience enjoyable and interesting. However, I and a few others feel that it needs to be tweaked a bit in order too help promote team work. I hope you'll consider my ideas, I simply wish to make the experience for players better, and I know you want the same. Anyways, thanks for reading!
I really agree with Lucas on this issue, I also think the sharing plot credits is a way to really encourage working together more than it does right now. A simple command could be:
/give <name> Credit <Number>
or
/give credit <name> <number>
or
/give <name> <number>
The system we have at the moment discourages teamwork unless you go without plots, and your best choice is not to go around plots when the whole system is based around them, chest protection, building, etc. Plots are a ingenuis idea, just as Lm said, but they need some tweaking to make the system just right.
