We have the survival server for that. The creative server can really show what we're capable of without the hours spent gathering stuff. You want the feeling of accomplishment? Go to survival.

Maybe you should be the spokesperson for Sharingan's mods?

Some people like the classic build style, some don't. Its why we have 2 servers. Personally, its why i built a 2k obsidian tower(BEFORE we got infi-blocks) and then almost never touched creative again, but whatever floats your boat.

Not stolen but used.

My favorite part of classic is the fact that you can't die and there is little to no lag. I like being able to jump off of a 50 foot cliff and live while having to earn my own stuff.

Dopamine levels are highest in anticipation of rewards, not with receipt of the reward itself[1]. This is why we play games–it's the anticipation of achieving some goal that motivates people. This also explains why arbitrary rewards in games are so satisfying. Gathering materials to build with is but one way of building anticipation though.

Personally, I think the new creative mode will allow for much loftier goals, and thus not diminish the anticipation of achieving those goals at all. We can laude our future glory while we build instead of while we mine!
