Personally, I believe signatures are there for people to show their creativity or something they like in every post they make. While their are some very excessive signatures out there, it's not like they lag the forums at all and if they do you should probally get a better computer or get off your mobile device.

25.9% scale down

Many people's signatures shouldn't suffer from a readability problem when scaled down.

I think its the best solution. Just a little CSS Trick:

I think we dont need Forum Signatures, or maybe they should be restricted:

• maximum visible height = 100px (example: minecraftforum.net)
• no Images?

If you want to show an image, you can make it your profile picture or create a new chat topic.
