I was gone for a day and a half and I come back to the forum to check on some stuff. I went to edit a post and *poof* no edit button.

Where did the edit button go?

EDIT: This thread answered my question. Only main posts by me can be edited, not other posts by me....

I was wrong.

It isn't just main posts. It is posts older than today (I think). I just posted something on the PS3 Gamertag thread and I can edit it.

Same problem... They must of implemented a time limit, after which you can't edit them... Which sucks...

They should allow the first post atleast to be forever editable.

Agreed. Particularly for threads where new information often becomes available, such as auctions (update current bids) or faction threads (update members list).

Im agreeing. If you made a mistake (wrong auction format, spelling), you should be able to correct it.

The Edit function being removed in old posts are due to safety.

However if anyone posted a suggestion for having unlimited edits, I would vote it up.

I would rather have this awesome function than the little extra safety.

Thing to have in mind:
I think Intelli said that you can edit pictures that you upload. However I that's to complicated for me and made me remove my trading post.
