Hello, My name is fritterdonut, and I am an xrayaholic.

7th day on the server, I wanted to make some fast cash, so I xray'ed diamonds and gold. I acknowledge that I broke the rules. Intelli banned me today at around 8:30PM. I am sorry for possibly throwing the economy out of whack and such. I hope I can get a second chance, and am willing to forfeit the realm I bought and all my items that I got with my ill-gotten diamonds. If given a second chance, this will not happen again.

After further reflection, I have some more to say:

First off, I'm apologizing to the 4 people who I sold diamond blocks to. I betrayed your trust and stole your money by giving you illegitimate goods. I also apologize to anyone I bought materials off of because I bought your materials with dirty credits. Finally, I also feel I should apologize to everyone on the server, for betraying your trust as well. I am hoping that you can forgive me and allow me to be part of the minerealm community. In addition to forfeiting everything I own, I will also happily work off any fines levied for x-raying (as I have no credits).

Why was Fritterdonut unbanned after 2 days while there are dozens of us still waiting who've been waiting on our appeal for weeks? Was Fritterdonut banned after the mass sweep? If so, why was his appeal ruled on more quickly than those who were banned before xray was explicitly listed as illegit?

I have absolutely no problem with Fritterdonut getting unbanned, I'm just wondering why there's a difference between him and everyone else. It kind of seems like most people who got banned, excepting some of the most well known community members, are being ignored until we just say the heck with it and go look for another server. There have been multiple griefers unbanned since the sweep, I'm wondering what makes them worthier of speedy rulings than those of us who weren't actively trying to damage other players.

Mods and Admins are checking people's mines also, To see how bad they xrayed. So (I do not know if this is the case or not) But your mines could have been way worse than his, or the amount you xrayed, Just wait for a reply, hopefully they will get to you eventually.

Xraying has always been bannable, the admins just didn't have an easy way to catch you before. Now they do.

As for the appeal speed, it depends on the quality and content of your appeal, your history with minerealm, how serious your xraying was and multiple other factors. And, of course, a bit of luck. Not everyone is getting unbanned. It is looking like many will not get unbanned. All i can say is stick around and your chances are bettered.

Skaiser you are unbanned already, anyone else who was not unbanned during the first purge is pretty much permabanned we went through all the appeal's and unbanned a handful. We just didn't have time go back through all appeals and put unbanned.
