Ohkay, well i got banned earlier today for flying and i admit i was but what had happened is that i had been on my mates server where i am allowed to fly and i didnt realise that with the mod i use if i logout whille flying, flying stays turned on, so i logged onto Minerealm (my favourite server) and spawned on the top of my building where i had previously been. i went to jump of the side, to land in the water (faster than walking down 5 flights of stairs) and when i pressed space to jump over the edge i shot into the air, i was kicked by the server saying flying not enabled, i logged back on and tried to turn fly off but i was kicked again, it happened one more time but instead of kicked i was banned. i really love playing on the server, i believe i am a friendlly and helpful player, even ask robotic_unicorn, kittenpirate007 or dane_hendo and then can vouch that i am a hardworking trustworthy player, please unban me. I am incredibly sorry for creating this problem and i realise that it is my fault for even having mods on my computer, please accept my apology and let me show you guys how much the server means to me, i will do community service. lol. Seriously though i will, i will help the MineRealm community as much as i can.

i will bare that in mind, though i am new to this forum as i just signed up yesterday to appeal my ban, i couldnt see the edit button before, but i now where it is now for future need.

I would also like to add that u can be rest assured that i will never use hacks on the server on purpose or by accident, i would like anyone reading this to know that i have refreshed my bin folder so as to prevent this from happening in the future. i also would like to acknowledge that even though it was by accident i know that it may be hard to trust me for using mods as many of you are probably suspicious of mods as i hear there has been a lot of griefing in the creative map (i havent been on the creative map i prefer survival so i dont no how bad) and i would be perfectly happy with being banned for a short amount of time if it would make an admin/mod feel better, aslong as i can go back on the awesome server at some point, i will be happy.

If it is your favorite server, then you should know the rules by heart. There is no excuse for flying, even if it wasn't on purpose. Minerealm is FREE, which is a godgiven priveledge. If you abuse this priveldge, then I can't say for sure if you should be allowed back.


For the first part i do know the rules but as i stated in my first post i didnt fully understand how the mod works and to prevent this happening i have downloaded a fresh bin folder. As for the second part, okay, i wont do it in the future.

Assuming what you say is the full truth, I personally think you should be unbanned. Accidents can happen and this sounds like a true example of the worst kind. Just a word of advice though, uninstall the mod until you fully understand how it works or uninstall it permanently. Mods like flymod and x-ray, even unused, can be a severe temptation to any player.
