H'okay, so, I was one day lookin' around the general area in which my realm was located, which is to say in the middle of nowhere, and I saw what appeared to be a nether portal. Which, understandably, I found rather odd, in that I was in the middle of nowhere. Shocked, I looked further and found a shack nearby, crudely constructed, and with no sign to declare ownership. Having seen what happens to bases with Nether portals activated, that is to say griefed fairly badly, I immediately did my patriotic duty and destroyed the portal, and removed most traces of its existence, not being a thief, I a.) Returned to the shack to place the obsidian in a chest b.) saw that the chest was VERY disorganized. In that the chest was full, I reorganized the chest, taking nothing, and left the obsidian strewn about the property, assuming that the junk in the chest was merely the remnants of a bygone traveler seeking refuge/nether-access for the long, mob filled night. I strew the obsidian about the doorway with a sign that said "Butts LOL". The sign was not meant to inform, only to entertain fellow passers by. After which, exhausted, I went to bed. And that was Day 1.
Day 2, I continued to search my realms general area, scouting caves and whatnot, and I returned to see the still unmarked shack now sans obsidian. Not knowing whether the original owner had returned to see the house blockaded, or an enterprising wanderer had craftily used his diamond pickaxe to receive risk free obsidian, I became slightly worried, as I began to realize that either A.) My realm was on a highly traveled route or b.) an entity who did not wish to be named had set up shop near my realm, to do who knows what. Traveling to the top of a nearby hill, revealed another nether gate, which I had either not noticed, or which was completely new. Still not wanting lit nether gates near my home, I simply removed 4 blocks from this nether gate, and placed them in the doorway of the entities home, so that he would easily see that I did not mean to steal his obsidian, merely discourage use of nether portals. Now, fearing for the safety of my realm to this unknown entity who could easily enter the realms of one of my three fellow villagers or myself, I removed the layers of dirt from the hill which contained the portal and used said dirt to block off the route that allowed easy entrance to my realm from the desert biome which said shack and portal resided on the border of (My realm is surrounded by high mountains on most sides, sans several key entry points). After this, I went to play some TF2 or something, and went to bed shortly after. This was day 2.
Now day 3, I log into minerealm only to see that I was, as one would say, Ub3r-banhammered. So I take it that entity did not take kindly to my lack of stealing his items and called a mod to do his bidding. Calling up my pal, I asked him to check the path, only to find it as unblocked as it was before I had started. Which was not cool, as it was not a claimed realm and dirt doesn't belong to anybody in an unclaimed area (with not even a sign to claim any de facto ownership). I assume this was part of a routine rollback maneuver done on all banned players, and do not take offense to it, though it was soul-crushing to lose the hour I lost setting it up.
TL;DR (Teal deer :3c): I demolished nether portals, returned them to their rightful owner; organized a chest, destroyed another nether portal, returned more obsidian to its rightful owner; completely removed a dirt hill, which belonged to no one.
Apology Part: This was perceived as griefing, which was not intended, and if it did cause grief, I am sorry to the mysterious entity that was so hurt by it. I do not intend to continue these actions if I am unbanned.
