i have a feeling i have been banned off the chat as i cant send any public messages. if i have been chat banned, i apologize for anything i have done wrong as last year, i got permenantly banned for swearing and servered my time off the sever and as i want to trade and chat publicly (without swearing) i hope i got be unbanned.

Players aren't normally muted. If you are able to play on the server but not use chat, it's probably a bug.

I think he means he can't PM and btw PM doesn't mean Public Message is means private message

no what i mean is that i can buddy chat and pm but i cant public message

Try the /chat command

Sounds like a issue on your end not the server.

Do the following steps:

1. Press ESC
2. Click Options
3. Click Multiplayer Settings
4. Top left button should say Chat: Shown

I am assuming your's is Chat: Hidden
