Dear Sir or Madam,
I am helping my son to appeal his status of banned because he is 8 and does not have command of the keyboard or the skill of making a case. I was in the room when he was banned and it was very difficult for him to accept. He felt it was an injustice but he understands in absolute terms why he was banned - for trying to light other members on fire. (As a parent, I would have intervened but was only paying partial attention to his activities.)
According to my son, he and a buddy (with whom he was skyping) were being attacked with snowballs at the "spawn" location. They felt as though they were being ganged up on. They were not sure who was attacking and who was innocent but they chose to escalate and they began attacking any and everyone in their path.
My son acknowledges that escalation was the wrong decision. He agreed that there was a voice in his head telling him not to do it but he did did not listen to that voice and he his very sorry. I can attest to the tears that followed.
I play Minecraft with my son from time to time and I have setup servers for him and his buddies to play so I have a very strong appreciation for MineRealm. The realm concept is great - 10,000 credits is a bit difficult to reach but it only enhances the value of a realm earned.
Kindly look upon this event as a learning experience and grant smash3636 access again. He promises to listen to his conscience going forward.
Thank you,
Dave
