This statement is some what true. If kress were to change his ways and stop acting like a completely rude and ignorant person to everyone on the server not just those who are staff, but the entire community. Then I would expect to see him back on the server.

The other part to this is that since kress has been banned there hasn't been that much "drama" between realms. In my own opinion I see kress as a bored, blunt, and active player. Since he speaks his mind without thinking about the ultimate outcome it causes drama, and we know that everyone hates drama.

If kress were to be unbanned it would have to be from the communities choice.

Untrue. Conflicts between factions and high-profile players makes the server more interesting, and keep things from becoming stagnant. While it is true that Kress pushed the envelope a bit too far (in terms of the frequency of his "trolling," but not, IMO, in the severity of it), I think the conflicts he tends to create would help keep the server interesting. If he's as willing as he claims he is to tone down the trolling, I think he would be, overall, an asset to the server that would be worth keeping around.

Ultimately, of course, it's up to Intelli and the rest of the staff. But, that being said, I do think that in this case, input from the community could be considered worthwhile. Kress was banned for "disrespecting players." Or, to be more precise, for disrespecting just about every player. Since the offense was more or less against the community as a whole, I think it makes sense that the community's opinions are more valuable here than in, for example, a case where someone had been banned for griefing a single individual.

I think Zane meant that if Intelli wanted to give Kress a chance at all and wondered what the community thought then he could set up a poll on what us, the community, think.
