I would burn anyone in any situation. DrCompanionCube will not be banned, seeing as the indirect pvp rule hardly exists anymore. If you were told to get off someone's property, and you were being defiant, they have the ability to light you on fire, so do it.

Lovely. One admin says burning gets a ban. Another admin says burning to defend your realm is okay. A mod says burn whenever. The rule book only mentions pushing as against the rules, not burning.

I love it when a rule is 100% based on which admin is on at the time.

If I have PVP off, I shouldn't have to worry about getting killed by another player. If I do, then it should be against the rules, simple as that. Is being in someone else's realm against the rules (Not having been asked by a mod or admin to leave)? No. Is indirect PVP against the rules? Yes. I think DrCompanionCube should at least acknowledge what he did was against the rules (rules that, in my opinion, should be enforced) and that next time someone enters his realm, he should be mature and ignore him.

yes/no/maybe is the correct answer, depending on who is looking at you. Apparently the rules have entered a quantum state where simply observing them causes them to change in unpredictable ways.

So, in the name of science, we must do an experiment. Hand out dozens of lighters at spawn to complete noobs and see how the admins handle them setting everyone on fire.(no, don't do this. Bad idea.)

I don't think my post was understood. If a player is in your realm, refusing to leave, and you cannot do anything more, say something like, "Jtcanon, if you don't leave now, you may instantly die for unknown reasons!" and if I didn't leave, you could light me on fire, seeing as you warned me. Don't forget folks, fire is turned of 100 blocks around spawn.

I get it... haphazardly lighting people on fire is a No No, but evicting people that refuse to leave your home is... XD I would guess that one guy that I pointed out to Kero would probably benefit from this knowledge, if he wasn't just attacking everyone within 100 blocks of his house lol.

If you are tresspassing in someone's realm (Going to areas that you are told to leave) it is actually a kick/bannable offense. I would rarely see someone actually getting banned for it but you can get TPed to spawn or kicked. And mods/admins don't really have a say on who should and shouldn't be in a realm (unless its their own) but if you are asked by the owner then a mod/admin will surely follow along with a TP/Kick.
