See this is where I lose it. You don't deserve / aren't entitled to a single thing. You are privileged to have a voice in even thinking about becoming unbanned. Asking for a second chance is more impolite than you think. It's not as if you deserve to get the chance, it's a privilege to be on the server in the first place. As far as I can tell, you haven't contributed to the server in a positive way (there are many ways to do this), and so the remote possibility of getting a second chance is far out of reach. Tough luck.



You also totally ignored cerevox's argument, which pretty well proved that a moderator banned you for impersonating a mod, something that should be obvious you shouldn't be doing. Swearing is not acceptable in any situation, although I can somewhat understand the swearing after being griefed. I sympathize with you here to a degree, but that combined with impersonating a mod, doesn't look good.

And imho I think he should be unbanned. It's one thing to grief and try to completely wreck the server, but overreacting and swearing I can kinda understand to a degree. As for not following instructions from moderators, how was he supposed to know they were moderators giving him instructions? This was on the temp server, there was no possible way of telling who was who, except Intelli (I think). What it sounds like to me is that Cresent got extremely frustrated with being griefed, so he probably swore at the griefer and said something along the lines of "MOTHER ****** FIX MY HOUSE OR BAN!!!" which could have been interpreted as pretending to be a mod. I've seen loads of people say things like this to try and scare a griefer into fixing something (it doesn't really work though). This is what I think happened instead of him blatantly saying "I am a mod of this server, now follow what I say. Punk." although I could be wrong.

Overall I think he should be given a second chance and if he causes any more trouble in the future he can be dealt with at that time and place. :X

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have been banned for impersonating a mod if he were just trying to scare griefers. It's far more likely he thought he could pull a fast one on somebody and extort some materials (which is really stupid on a temporary map).

Unban seems highly unlikely in this case.
