I appear to have been banned from Minerealm, although for what I am uncertain as I haven't been playing with any sort of regularity for several weeks. I've only been logging on to keep my realms active, so I'm rather curious as to what has lead to this.

Even to the best of my knowledge, I've never done anything wrong while I was an active player. I spend most of my time on creative, working essentially on my own.

Some information would be great.

You may have been caught up in the latest incarnation of the purge script; this time it checks for gold AND diamond. There were quite a few false-positives, and some people from the previous purge we caught in it.

That, or it may be a completely different reason. Quite a few people have been banned for having their name show up on a griefed structure on creative, even though they didn't intentionally destroy it.. Your best bet is to wait for a staff member, because I can only help so much x3

Intelli ran a new purge for gold recently and at one point you found enough gold in a certain amount of time to get banned. If you weren't here for the first big purge we had, this is to get rid of people using xray hacks. Talk to an admin and see if they will unban you.

I was around for the huge diamond purging, so I had a feeling that I may have been caught up in the crossfire of this gold purging.

I'm unclear on the status of the map on survival given the infrequency with which I've been doing anything. However if it's still the same as it was pre 1.8-- if any staff members want to take a look at the tunnel I used to mine, you'll see it's just a straight 1,000+ block long tunnel which is 4 blocks wide and 2 blocks tall. Yes it was hilariously boring to dig. At certain intervals I would end up coming across big pockets of gold / diamond and expose tunnels, which, given their proximity to the bedrock, would have large numbers of exposed gold which I would of course gather up. I could imagine that a script would flag me as xraying given some of the luck I had with digging that very long tunnel. Tunnels which are not natural which branch off near the beginning of it were dug by a friend of mine, although I have no idea if you can check that given how long ago it was ( It was all dug around the beginning of our pre 1.8 map, assuming it has changed ).

X-raying seems senseless to me, especially given how incredibly rarely I actually play on Survival. Sadly there's not much I can say that will venerate me any further than someone else swearing they don't X-ray. All I can do is merely ask for some trust or perhaps mercy in believing me that I do not X-ray.

..If I wasn't banned in the gold purge, then I'm still genuinely curious as to what has happened. I'll gladly wait for any response from an Admin or Intelli, given that creative was still down last I checked, so I can't log on and work on my hourglass.
