I can guarantee you that there are multiple mods and admins who keep an eye on the ban forums. Just wait for one to decide to deal with your appeal in particular. It might take a while. Something to keep in mind is that you shouldn't bump your own appeal unless it falls to the 3rd page or further. 2nd page is kind of iffy for that.

The delay could have a lot of reasons, so wait time really doesn't mean much. Admins could be checking out the zones you griefed, examining logs, confering with each other, or just ignoring you. Since you have no way of knowing which one it is, its best to not antagonize them by complaining or bumping a lot. Patience will be something you should be displaying.

Fair enough people dont want their stuff destroyed or stolen. But how do you know if a house is abandoned or not, say the player who built it doesn't play any more. The first thing I ever destroyed was a cobblestone box thing that I'm guessing was a house but had nothing in it that was just outside of a realm I purchased and it was really bugging me. So I asked if you could destroy things made by others in a public realm, I was still rather new at this point, and three people said yes nothing is safe in public realm. To be fair none of these people were admins, but I had no idea how often admins come on and I assumed other people playing on the server would know.

Also, I only knew about the rules that are posted in I guess what you can call the quick reference page for the survival server. I have just now found this actual " rule book " you were talking about. I am reading it now and so far I have found that there are some important things in here that probably should be added to the reference page because there are a couple of rules in here that I didn't know and have probably broken. However, I would assume many players have not taken the time to read this, besides you and you seem to know more than the admins lol.

If you find an abandoned house and want to destroy it, get an admin or mod to check it out first. Also, the general player base is probably poorly informed of the rules, take what they say with a grain of salt. Or they could of known you would get banned and said yes anyway. If you know who told you yes and have a screenshot of it, you could get them banned for lying about the rules by using rule 7.9.

Admins or mods are almost always on, if you need one, just ask.

As for the rulebook, it changes, i wouldn't say frequently, but often enough that you have to keep an eye on it. Although i have more or less given up on picking at it, so it will probably be more stable for a while. And almost no one reads the whole thing.

As for admins not knowing the rule book, it doesn't apply to them. Admins only answer to Intelli's rules. The rule book only applies to players through admins and mods who choose to use it(which most do). So basically, its a giant political mess, so its best to just not break any rule from anyone, ever just to be on the safe side.

Most players are not expected to have any deep insight into the rules or anything but damaging another players stuff falls afoul of all the different rule-sets. When damaging anything constructed or built, make sure you have an admin okay it just to be safe.
