Hello, just going to save a few seconds for staff and some waiting time for you by informing you that if your friend really does want to be unbanned then he needs to make the appeal himself.
Tell him to come here and create a ban appeal, or just continue off this one, and a staff member will review it asap.
After all, a ban appeal is, to put it simply, apologizing for what you did, thus it doesn't mean anything unless he comes and does it himself.
