About Yourself: I love to write and when I am being serious, can write things fairly well. I love Minecraft and everything about it. Writing is one of my pastimes, as is Minecraft, so why not put them together? It only makes sense.
Qualifications: I have written things for small newspapers (local/school) for contests and have won. Normally the topic is current events so I am always on top for that. I try to watch the news every day but that sometimes fails me... Anyhow, I write a lot for the public and can be quite vivid when writing.
Why you deserve this position: As you all can see my spelling and grammar have taken a turn for the better. I have been progressing a lot in my serious writing (no not my fanfic, that's just for fun), and have taken writing courses such as Creative Writing, in school. Again, I have gotten writings into my local newspaper, giving me some experience.
Availability: With this, almost always. I love to write in my spare time so I can really do it whenever!
Anything else you wish to add: Before I get to my sample I would like to say, yes, I am young, but this position would be good for me. As far as I can see there are no age limits, so it wouldn't be too much of a problem. And now for the feature presentation! (Also note, this story is for fun, I don't know if it is true, it just popped up on the forums...)
Sample Story:
B.L.U.R.S: The way transport ought to be!
B.L.U.R.S, which stands for BLUebaron's Rail System, is an underground subway that stretches in all cardinal directions. Stopping many places, and rarely griefed because of its hidden entrance, B.L.U.R.S is maybe one of the nicest railways on the Creative Server, located at spawn.
The hidden entrance is located behind the gargantuan Reckless Tortuga! After turning right into the darkness (no torches please!) you will eventually find a square passageway. After stepping onto a pressure plate, hidden by the darkness, redstone torches will light the rest of the way, and iron doors, also opened by the pressure plates, will be standing open, waiting for your arrival.
Blue always asks you to please remember to use the right mouse button only and to visit the help room if it is your first visit. Remember, griefers can and will be punished by a ban!
With a "push button start" you will be on your way after hearing a two note departure tone, made by Blue himself. The East road, which might be the most developed of all the tracks so far, has many stops. These stops include, and are not limited to: Liaguie, UGC2, and Baronland!
So hum along to a happy tune as you zip along this highway of sorts to your next destination! B.L.U.R.S is happy to help you get where you need to be, faster!
