About Yourself: I’m a 20 year old college student pursuing an engineering degree. I’ve played a fairly wide range of games, mostly on the PC, and have been playing for most of my life (I still remember playing games that ran on DOS). I also read a fairly large amount, and will probably be getting involved in some research. I am fairly calm and level headed, and have been on Minerealm since the old creative days, so I know its rules and most of the players on it quite well.
Qualifications: I haven’t really moderated anywhere before, but as I said previously, I’m a Minerealm regular who knows the rules and is fairly levelheaded. I am also active on the forums, which helps my awareness of what is happening on the server. This will help in figuring out what needs to be done to resolve problems. I also have a fairly strong grasp on spelling and grammar, which is always worthwhile.
Why you deserve this position: I’ve been helping out players on the server quite a bit, both with helping new players, and with helping disseminate other information to players (I even made a macro I can use to explain the difference between survival and classic). I also work at catching griefers, and have been fairly successful. Finally, I have been able to calm down some arguments between players, which helps make chat a much more pleasant place. If I was a mod, I would be able to be even more effective at these tasks.
Availability: I am US central, but I am on college student time, so my schedule slides around a fair amount. I am frequently up until 3-4 AM when there are no mods on.
Anything else you wish to add: I don't really have much else to add besides the fact that I help out as much as possible, and regardless of the fate of this application, I plan on being around Minerealm and being helpful however I can.
