About Yourself: I'm an avid homeschooled computer geek as well as a hardcore full-fledged gamer. I have much experience in HTML and CSS, and I used those languages along with Javascript to build my own blog and website, although the website isn't finished yet. I also like to program applications, such as iPhone apps, and modify programs, which is one of the reasons I enjoy Minecraft so much. It's fun to edit the source code and see what comes up in the game. Other than that the basic concept of Minecraft got me hooked from the start. Other games I play include Call of Duty 4 for PC, and, more recently, Portal.
Qualifications: I've been with MineRealm from the very start; I understand all the rules and the consequences that come with ignoring them. Back in the days when I was a regular on a COD4 server, I helped moderate the servers while the Mods and Admins were offline or busy. Although I was never an actual member, since I never actually joined the clan, I helped the community as much as I could, similar to the way I help the MineRealm community as much as I can.
Why you deserve this position: I try to put others before myself in order to help the MineRealm community as much as I can. If someone's house is damaged from griefing, I usually take the time to help repair. In fact, I spend most of my time on the server either cleaning up spawn or researching player activity. I've also developed some sort of paranoia for new players. Whenever someone logs on that I haven't seen before my brain immediately thinks she/he is a griefer, and I usually look them up on the interwebs to see if they are suspicious. If they have a record I stalk them around spawn for a while and notify a nearby mod. I've also taken time to go beyond server evidence and look up sites with players admitting to griefing MineRealm, and then post a ban request with their ign.
Availability: I am usually on in the morning and evening, though I can be called through Skype or Steam. I am on the server daily.
Anything Else: The main reason why I am making this application is because, out of all the other servers, this community is my favorite. The moderating system and rules are very organized, clear, and fair imho, and the community that surrounds both servers are beyond excellent. By becoming a mod I believe I can help these servers far more than I have done in the past. I know the mod spots are pretty much full but I figured I'd might as well give this a shot anyways. :P
