Well, there are many times when a mod may step down due to school or work, so it is better to have a tiny bit more mods than not enough.

I decided that I most likely want to be a programmer, on every job test I got, it said I had the qualifications and more to be a computer programmer. Due to this, I will start learning JavaScript, C++ , and all that kinda stuff. I will probably practice by making Minecraft mods, since it uses JavaScript, which I want to learn first. I am also playing around in animation on Maya, which it took me about an hour to learn how to use it more or less. I will also be turning 18 very soon ( only like 6 more months!) Again, if any mods need to know more about me for me to be mod, or any players for that matter, go ahead and ask. Thanks, and if anyone has any criticism, please post here.

That is a good choice, Hippo You didn't mention anything about college, but being a girl, you could get a ton of scholarships for majoring in computer science. There's a huge lack of girls in the computing field (hardware, software, IT, everything).

I myself am a computer science major. I'm also a teaching assistant though, so if you have questions about programming, feel free to ask me! I like helping people with code. Java is probably a fairly good language to start with... it also happens to be my current favorite! C and C++ can be a bit tricky if you don't know what you're doing... it's much easier to mess up with those two and harder to find the problem. I would recommend downloading Eclipse Classic and going through some of the Java Tutorials. That will get you started.

Hippo's been online more than other potential moderators these past few weeks, and the amount of time online was the only downside I could think of. Now, it seems like hippo has nothing going against her, so I believe she should be the next mod.
