I just want to add that staff is a postion of responsibility. Mentioning that you are mod/staff on other servers only detracts from you application, IMO. We need staff that are dedicated to the server. Someone that shares their time with other servers may not be commited enough to be worth giving the kind of authority that comes with staff.
One of the biggest concerns I personally have with doing so is that you may fail to exercise good judgement. If someone has any apathy when carrying out their duties as staff, it may lead to poor/bad/wrong decisions that negatively affect the community. This is unacceptable. If you are really serious about getting a staff position here you may consider stating that you will be commited ONLY to minerealm. Any commitment short of that is not enough to justify making you staff, IMO.
