Hey Everyone,

Yesterday GameChap and Bertie posted a video detailing the release of 1.2.4 this Thursday,
I can't actually attach the video as Youtube doesn't work on this PC, but i can still post the link:

Heres the facts;
- The actual features of the update are unknown, but, you can find the expected changelog here: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Upcoming_features
- Gamechap and Bertie said that it was announced that the update will mainly contain Bug fixes, with a few Minor updates/tweaks.
- It is unlikely that there will be any new AI changes, as John Kagstrom (Mojang's AI Whizz) has been working on Scrolls (Mojangs new, un-released game).
- The Bukkit Team, that have recently been employed by Mojang, Tweeted that they'd fixed the Multiplayer TNT bugs (the spazzing white blocks left behind).
- It's unknown whether this update will require a Server update, but if it does, then make sure to wait until it's officially announced that Minerealm is using that Version before updating your client.
- Also, Notch has been back doing 'coding' apparently for a new Space-Themed game (rumours suggested that this could be a new Minecraft Realm, rather than a game).
- Jeb has been very quiet recently on Twitter, could he of been working on something big for 1.2.4 in the weeks since 1.2.3, where no new snapshots have been released?

I personally can't wait to find out what the've got for us,
What do you think?

I will require a server update. Some of the bug fixes are server-side.

On the positive side, the Bukkit team is now an official part of Mojang, so hopefully the server will be able to update very soon after 1.2.4 is released.

I just want Minecarts to be boats for lava... and a new ore. It's been so long since any new ores were introduced. I'm getting really tired of the same old stuff. I want more tools, crafting recipes, more versatility! and chests that can pick up items. So I don't have to be at the computer for automatic farms. I wish they'd just focus on Minecraft.. from what I've read, they don't have a very large development team. So working on multiple projects just means less and less content for all of those projects, and not the attention they need. And Minecraft still needs attention. Just doesn't feel.. complete.
