All I can say is that that's going to be one beast of a computer :D

Also, I had the Nvidia GTX 580 recently installed into my PC and the performance for games improved quite a far bit on high graphics game such as BF3 and Skyrim. That's definitely a good choice of graphics card :P

Replace the 580 with a 7970. The 7970 beats the 580 in every single test and it's practically the same price.

Well if that's the case then do. But according to my local computer store the 7970 is a whole $200 AUD more than the 580..............

Make sure you get a modular power supply... I got the Corsair 650TX, and it makes the inside of my computer look like a Medusa. Spare cables EVERYWHERE.

Other than that, looks like it'll be a nice build. I have an OCZ vertex, it's pretty speedy.

EDIT: Also, the ASUS VS238H-P is a MUCH better monitor. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005BZNEVQ
So im not too educated on monitors and what to look for in them. Can you please help me understand what makes that one better. Just want to make sure I get the most for my money since this is a pretty big investment.

Also fritter I dont want to spend much more money on this build. Do you know of any modular power supplies around the same cost? Im trying to budget in a new set of golf irons too. This is all money from my tax returns :D

If you wait on tech you'll wait forever, things are always better down the road.

I'm a long time AMD fan but with the current state of the bulldozer I might just end up building an Intel machine, ugh.
