I thought it'd be a pretty nifty idea if we could all have an idea of each others' plans and goals for the future. You know, which college you want to go, or where you're going/went, what you want to or have majored in, what specific career field you'd like to become or already are a part of. Who knows, some of our skills could be useful in-game.
I'll start:
Well first, I don't think I've introduced myself (at least not formally), so my name is Bryce. I'm a 19 (going on 20 soon) year old college student in the second semester of my second year at a community college in Illinois. So far, I've knocked almost all of my general studies out of the way, and after I've milked as many credits I can from the cheap 2 year college I'm attending now, I plan to transfer to the newly built Western Illinois University campus that is opening locally this spring. There, I plan on continuing my goal of majoring in electrical engineering (I've been taking specific math classes that are required so far), and I'm undecided on a minor. Possibly music or something pertaining to sound engineering. It would be a dream come true to work for a big-name guitar amplifier manufacturer such as Marshall or Mesa, designing and refining future amplifiers' circuitry. I love tube technology (I've built a 65ish era Marshall clone, point-to-point wired and all), and I'd enjoy a career in which I could help keep that technology around. Plus, have an excuse to play guitar on the job to test out my work
So what does everyone else have planned for their future? Please share, because I, as well as others I'm sure, am really interested to see the diversity of interests among the minerealm community.
