So after a few black screened attempts, I got onto the temp map this am.
Oh my!
What fresh Hell is this I wondered?
I immediately tried to escape the box. And fell to my death. Hmm.
Got a few blocks of wood from a friendly tree-farm. (Nice that folks are sharing wood!) Started mining. Whew. Underground again. Away from the chaos above. Life is good.

I'm finding I like this kind of game play. Much more like vanilla single player but you have the unpredictability of other people and their actions as well as the chat. I like the feeling of being a little more careful because you can't just /home /spawn and it may not be so easy to rebuild even your meager inventory if you die. I am glad it's not pvp as my purple mom sweater is not very good armor

A new experience and very fun! Will be curious to see after 7 or so hours away while I'm at work, what changes will have happened. It looks like things are evolving fast!

I remember doing a few of these maps ages ago, specifically when we were trapped in a tiny glass cube. There was a pool in one corner that everyone tried to preserve from griefing.... And I may have killed intell a few times :3

so not as much fun now
too confined a space for so many players with so much time to play
I logged in, someone (with a cool skin, btw ) tried to block me in/out, followed me around..never said a word to me though..weird..
was kind of fun at this point to see all the changes to the little area that I had been mining in 8ish hours ago
then I wandered around the chaos above ground and took screenies
then got lava'd to death by someone else after they threw dirt at my feet..
then there was a very boring and unoriginal spammer on, made me yawn..
now with no wood there is no way to make a pickaxe and dirt only gets you so far, so
time to play with linux/play another game til there is a new temp map or some version of a permanent map or until my curiosity gets the better of me and I peek back in to see the chaos that is currently MineRealm
