So I have read your comments and concerns about my guide, and I appreciate all the input I have received. I have decided to take a different route with this guide which I hope you guys will enjoy a lot more (yes, the price will be lower. $9.99 to be exact).
The one main concept I wanted to focus on in my original guide was the multiplayer aspect of Minecraft and how it greatly differs from singleplayer. I know I simply cannot compete with the wiki in terms of information about Minecraft, but I can provide tips and strategies for multiplayer gameplay, which of course is my main focus with all of this. The wiki does not do this, and not only that, the information I want to add (multiplayer tips/strategies) can pretty much be only found by searching multiple sites and forums. Nobody likes doing that as we can all see in game ("How do I get credits?" - you read the forums or signs at spawn). So I want to compile all of the common questions I get asked (that's why I asked you guys for those, and trust me, those that contributed will be mentioned in my guide. I promise) and I want to discuss each question in detail.
For example I could start a small section of the guide off with a question like:
"Can I tp?"
Then directly underneath that I would discuss why you can or cannot tp on this server. etc. etc.
There will surely be more to the guide then simply just questions I get and how to avoid asking them. I will also include important things to remember when playing online (living far from spawn, trusting nobody, reading /help as soon as you join, etc.) So I expect a lot of mutliplayer tips and such in this *revised* guide. And like I said, I want to make it $9.99. I hope that seems fair.
Also, I might post my Google Doc outline I've been making for this new guide when it's got enough info if you want to see it to get a better idea of what's going in this thing. Thoughts people? Thanks for the input I really appreciate it. And I will add your names to the book, those of you that sent me questions. Of course MineRealm will get it's own section in the book as well.
