About a week or two ago I was involved in some PvP near spawn. There was a newb spawn camping that I foolishly tried to help deal with (foolishly because I had full prot 4 diamond armor and still died because it takes about 30 seconds for the map to load whenever I TP or enter the nether). Just before entering the nether at spawn I accidentally dropped my diamond sword. It is enchanted with looting III, sharpness V. There was a player at the arcane portal (at spawn) a he/she mistakenly thought I was giving it to them. I was tired and didn't immediately realize what I had done and that player entered the nether. I knew that player was attempting to disbatch the newb and did not want to bother them. The player logged shortly after this and, though I waited, did not come back online.

I do not remember the player's name or I would ask them directly for the sword back. So, I am here in the forums requesting that if you are that player you would consider giving it back. I am not demanding it back, the way I dropped it could be interpreted as a gift, though not intended as such. This sword is one I use for wither skeleton hunting. I has a lot of intrinsic value to me due to the success at such adventures. I do not make a request empty handed. If the sword was lost during PvP, broken or you just desire to keep it, that's fine. However, I would be willing to give you the next wither skeleton skull I obtain once I have it back in my arsenal.

Ah that sucks gall.
I lost an exact same sword named Withers Bane (or something similar) but I'm pretty sure mine was due to accidentaly hitting q while playing half asleep >.<
