I wasn't sure if everyone has heard yet but Tom Clancy died on Tuesday October 1, 2013.

If you don't know who Tom Clancy is then I honestly don't know what rock you live under.

Anyways just though I'd post and spread the word.

You know it was a book... right? His books are a tough read, but tend to be worth it. I tried reading 'Sum of All Fears' back when I was about ten and had to give up. But since then, his games, movies, and books have really impressed and inspired me.

I have never managed to get through an entire book of Tom's - It's a shame. I really would like to. Infact, upon the news of his sad passing, I went out and ordered the collection. He was a master of his craft, he truly was.

He was known mainly to me as a novelist, but as a gamer, one has to remeber his work in the Gaming Industry too - Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell remain some of my favorite games.

This news is sad. Very sad indeed. RIP Master.

Sad to hear his passing. I loved the game Rainbow Six (there is a book also). I think I have one book of his that I mostly read - Armored Cavalry. Great book.
