So I was walking around spawn, and fell down a hole in the ground.

On the left: A ladder to the top (Blocked by a half step) On the right: Random blocks

After going up a level, I come across some structures...

Oh my..

I was there once, there are more forgotten lands if you travel far from spawn. The town I used to live in is now a grave to those who have become inactive on Minerealm. It is now a ghost-town and I have to admit, it is kind of strange...

And yeah, I was taking about Hezloth. We should just post pics of forgotten lands on this thread, I would enjoy reading that. (With authors permission though, I don't want to be the one who derails a thread.)

There are many forgotten lands. There is one land, however, that is forgotten, a ghost town (although some realms are still owned but abandoned) and hasn't been touched in months. I am the only one left, I don't bother buying non-important realms since griefing is non-existant (now). Guess where I am.

Heh, I stumbled across some of those areas during the 2nd anniversary event. Pretty cool stuff... not sure if it was meant to look like an underground base or if it just wasn't finished before the builder ultimately sold the realms.

Related: As you're going down the stairs to the public melon farm, look to the left. See the large cliff? You can get on top of it (no enderpearls required). Once on top, turn around so that you're facing in the same direction as the top of the staircase, and look down off the cliff. See the waterfall and the hole carved into the wall? Also worth exploring (enderpearls required to get up a steep area inside the hole).
