I never heard that it was bannable to make natural, unowned land look bad. Rude, maybe, but not bannable.

Yeah, I don't see him getting unbanned soon with this constant nonsense going on.

I was his friend, but heck, if he's going to straight up complain about a staff decision and say someone is rich enough to be stolen from...

Imagine in real life you had 10 $500 HUGE flatscreen TV's.
If one was stolen, would you just ignore it?
No.
You'd call the cops and get that thieving punk arrested.
YOU spent $500 to get it, not to just have it taken.
Or say they straight up destroyed the TV.
Sledgehammer to the screen.
You'd still want punishment, they wrecked your valuable equipment. No matter how many you have, it's still a considerable loss of cash, especially involving VV's enchanted armour and whatnot.
Some people have lots of money, some only have a little, but we all hate losing it.
