I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in The Netherlands there is an even going about getting a FREE Magmar (X) and Electabuzz (Y), they come with stones to evolve them into Magmarizer and Electirizer. You can get these by going to certain game stores (Gamemania in The Netherlands)

Yup, it's in Australia as well :P
You get a code from a store (either EB games, JB hifi or Target over here) and then enter it on the mystery gift page.
It goes from April 11 to May 11 here.

I have been playing pokemon emerald on my gba emulator for a few months now. Gotta say I miss playing this game. Loving my brelooms mach punch, and highly insist it be renamed falcon punch cause it often one shot kills my opponents. Still have its leech seed from when it was a shroomish. My Vibrava finally evolved into a flygon, and trying to get my lairon evolve into aggron. So far my hard hitters are a lv43 magneton and a 38 claydol, and thinking if I should keep my swampert in my team.

All and all, quite glad I am playing this again. Played ruby back in my early high school years and gotta say some of teh pokemon I am using now I wouldn't ever give a chance as they didn't appeal to me as they are now.
