Considering the next-generation of consoles is literally going to be using PC components, a port would be extremely easy to do and wouldn't be nearly as half-baked as ports of Xbox 360 and PS3 games.TechnoProdigy wrote:Because the average gamer in this day in age uses a PC? If you haven't noticed PC gaming has been winding down over the years due to piracy, and they try to prevent that and just make it worse for those who stick around. And let's be honest here if they released it for PC at the same time it would be a console port so it would be just as bad as half the other games that are being released. Do you really want a console port of GTA on PC?Bu1ld0g wrote:Side note, has anyone checked the user reviews at metacritic lately?Good, the game deserves flack for not releasing on the most lucrative gaming platform, and Rockstar deserves every bit of bad press for it. Not releasing a game on PC this day and age when the next console generation is right around the corner and uses the exact same architecture as PCs is inexcusable.
All the PC fanboys giving it 0/10 for not being released on their beloved machine yet.
Idiots.....
Just fyi GTA isn't intended for next-gen gaming so that argument is a bit invalid, however they do have plans to release GTA V on next-gen in 2014.
