my poor boy...
his #1 item on his list if he could have nothing else was Skyrim.
Had our tree this am. He did not get it. We didn't get it for his laptop b/c we didn't think it would run well (Portal 2 was hard to run on it). Told him when we got an x-box he'd get it. He thought no x-box til this Spring.

He did get Skyward Sword for the Wii. But I duhhed out and didn't realize we needed the motion plus so he couldn't even play that today.

He did get Super Mario Land, and some other cool stuff. But you all know that yucky feeling you get when you don't get the one thing you want the most. Especially when it's not an outrageous thing you're asking for. And you're trying soooo hard to be polite and appreciative and not disappointed.

Went to his grandparents to have their tree with them and his cousins this evening.
Guess what he got there? X-box w/ Kinect from them.
Skyrim and Lego Harry Potter years 5-7 from us.
Happy happy boy. I don't think he'll sleep tonight as he and his dad are down in the game room setting up the x-box right now.
Oh..and the g'parents got him a mini fridge for his game room. lol

I'm off to go root the hubby's new Nook Color.

Oh, good for your son, Jen! I got Skyward Sword as well, but I'd asked my mother to pre-order it so I could get the 25th Anniversary Music CD and the Motion Plus Legend of Zelda Wii Remote.
