Also, I took like 30 seconds in Paint to remedy a problem with someone's unnecessarily wide sig. Excess has been trimmed off, whole thing is only 90% as tall. The effect is still the same, but less wasteful.

The signatures are 500px wide and 200px tall, they arn't that big.

I'm going to post my general opinion on the signature size debate as a player and reader of the forums, and not as an admin.

I personally prefer smaller signatures, beucase a substantial amount of screen real estate can be taken up by a signature. Additionally, the content in posts can be completely overshadowed by signatures, which in my opinion is not the point of a signature. The post you make should be of primary importance, not the signature that follows after it.

To illustrate some of the size issues, I attached a quick picture.



Note that when I calculated the percent, I include in the non signature size things like the left hand side of the column with the information on who made that post. If I were to compare just the size of the post versus the size of the signature, the ratio would be much more biased.

I do want to repeat that I am saying this as a player, and not as an admin. As an admin, I say that you can post any size that the forums allow, as long as the content is appropriate.
