I realized I forgot to include one of the ship ad videos. Star Citizen is also just about to hit 30 million raised.

I will say, pretty much all of the games I've backed through crowdfunding have been games where I have knowledge of the devs going into it, and they have experience. The games I've backed have been Project Eternity (a bunch of Black Isle/Bioware devs including Chris Avellone), Torment - Tides of Numenera (a team of veteran devs), Hero U (The creators of the Quest for Glory series, an incredibly fun point and click adventure/RPG that I would be shocked if more than 5 people here had heard of), Banner Saga (More Bioware devs), The Broken Age (Tim Schafer and the Double Fine studio).
I've backed 2 games with people leading it who I am not familiar with their work: Maia (Simon Roth, who worked on VVVVVV and a few other games, but the idea looks interesting and relatively well developed), and Sui Generis (A team of entirely nobody devs, but their engine idea looks like it has a lot of potential, and I decided that even if the game falls flat, $15 was worth giving them a shot at a neat engine that can be used for more than just their game).

Flattened realms are an abomination
