Forget probability that is larger than my desktop, which has more raw power. I guess they needed the extra space to store the midget that spies on you 24/7 even when you unplug the system.
My Desktop case is legit only 12x13x3 to get the high end gpu to fit in that case it uses an old school raiser card so it lays parallel with the system board.
edit: derp will actually 10 in^2 smaller, but still you have to wonder about the poor design and cheap components that went into the xbone to make it that large.
