They're cuddling under a tree...insinuating that they're together, when they aren't.
Meh, it's in the eye of the beholder. At least it isn't anything...well, you know.
I think we can tolerate shipping, I just don't want anything explicit on this thread.
General guidelines would be to make sure this thread is kept clean of anything unsuitable for a family audience, i.e. Anything marked Not Safe for Work, extreme gore, violence, fetishes or other adult related subjects regarding graphic portrayals of sex, etc. Rule 34
Do not want Rule 34 on this thread.
Having said that I do not see shipping itself as anything offensive. Shipping can be any type of relationship, coupling from strong friendship to romance, from platonic to physical attraction.
As a general guide to suitable posts, remember that this site and forums is viewable by all ages and as such anything posted is also a reflection of not only the person making the post, but also the wider community.
It's a contentious subject certainly, when adults are involved in fandoms there will always be an element that ensure that Rule 34 applies, without exceptions and I guess even with this community, it's not excluded.
For as long as there having been fandoms there have been artists, writers and creators who delve into their desires and fantasies from Star Trek to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and even Harry Potter.
The Twilight Saga is especially well known and notorious for its more adult themed materials.
One of the most popular adult books in recent publication, 50 shades of grey, started off as a Twilight fan fiction, which had the names of it's cast just re-written.
Now I'm certainly aware of fan fictions and understand that people can seek enjoyment from them.
I'm not one judge how people get their thrills, so long as no one is harmed and no laws are being broken.
My view is that they are free to pursue their desires, so long as no harm is done.
As for rule 34 with ponies, well it's definitely trending into murky waters legally, as I could argue that some images would be breaking laws of various countries by portraying the underage in a graphical sexual manner.
So, I don't mind people having their favourite pairing or telling how cute Rainbow Dash and Applejack are as a couple, even romantically involved.
I just don't want anything pornagraphic on this thread.
