Just thought I'd tall y'all that I've taken it upon myself to buy and play Pokémon Red. My bro is playing Pokémon Crystal and once we beat the games we're going to use our N64 Transfer Paks and brawl it out in Pokémon Stadium 2.

This is gonna be fun.

Only my third (or fourth?) day of playing it, and I'm all ready to challenge the Lightning American.
Of course, I chose the best starter (Charmander).

Don't worry, my disagreeing friend! Once I beat the game I will push all my pokemon into the N64 box provided with pokemon stadium and play it once with each starter, adding back my old party once I'm high enough level to use them!

Recently, a demo for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has been released, and I somehow got two codes for the download. Yes, it was a code only received by an email promotion, there's others ways to get it, but they're a waste of time. So if someone wants it, just post here, PM me, or shoot me a message on Skype.

In my opinion, the game looks pretty good. Graphics are a bit cartoon-ish, but it's Pokemon. FPS in 3D mode has not improved much. But I love how the different soundtracks stayed loyal to the original ones, yet are greatly improved. Mega Evolutions look pretty swell, and the stat increases are good... I don't know what else to say. But Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire are probably my favorite games in the Pokemon series, and I am glad to see remakes of them. Demo isn't that good in general, but it's all we'll get to see of the new, improved Hoenn until November 21.

Finally beat the 5th gym in Pokemon Red, and just though I'd tell you all that through the magic of the N64 and a free copy of Blue I now have all three starters.
