Well... Part of the reputation IS based on the Amount of Block placed/destroyed in the last ten days.
If you haven't done a lot in ten days.... I mean A L O T, then your reputation will obviously go down.
People have been working on large projects and we have begun to see more and more 10/10's pop up.
Mitchie and Ibis' have gone up I'm sure, because they are digging that massive city. HydroBud's was at a 2/10 when he got back on the server, and is now at a 10/10 because of the city that he has built.
My reputation went up to a 9/10 from a 5/10 because I flattened 5 realms. Now it's gone back down because I've been banned twice in the last two weeks.
The rep system is explained in Intelli's original post, and most of the things that he states on it, are MOSTLY what reputation is based off of. I'm sure that Intelli has put his personal opinion on some people, but for the most part there is a script that is adjusting the rates of peoples reputation, and I'm sure that it resets every certain amount of days and is adjusted negatively or positively.
The reputation is just a skewed comparison of what people are actually doing to help others and I'm sure giving noobs free stuff isn't going to raise your reputation on the forums, but it will definitely raise your reputation on the server. Only things that can be tracked, like swearing, banning, kicks, blocks placed, blocks destroyed, how many times chatted, how many times logged on within x amount of days, how long you've been logged on.
Simple kindness probably won't raise your reputation.
Simple clicking will.
