If what Faeyn suggested can happen, then yes. But if it only retrieves usernames from the griefers' database, then no.

That's what I'm referring to :P

Intelli, just has some socket opened to dcc.minerealm.com:8000 and writes data bytes to it. I'm not too sure because I only took a glance, but it seems like it just writes the alt name with some frame. I seriously doubt that the alt names he gets directly get banned without a second check... at least I hope.

@Prodigy, just rewrite the data variable to be the same as any player you want to get banned on MR >_>

Guys, I don't know about Canada/Australia/etc, but accessing a database of stolen account information is a felony offense in the US. I don't reccommend using this.

How is it a felony offense to pull usernames that can be accessed anyway? It's not like he's pulling passwords, it's only usernames and that's it.

I falls under federal fraud laws as a conspiracy charge. It's a technicallity, but it's still illegal if it is a paid account. The real issue is that you can't prove that you never used the account information. That database has to have both usernames and passwords of the stolen accounts, and any access to it returns both.

When I was looking through the code, I think that Intelli's client only polls the username. (I think >_>).
In that case, I don't know if it's still considered a felony. However, if you are saying that just even accessing such a database is criminal, then I would agree that we should not use this client.

That database only allows pulling username, and you might as well go ahead and say mcbans is a felony then because it has probably 95% of minecraft usernames.
