An Xbox is a fine console, it will probably give you three years of solid performance before breaking down. If you like shooters and an online experience, then go for an Xbox because it's best for online competitive gamers. But if you're a conniseur (did I spell that right? =P) of games and are looking for a more in-depth or creative experience or are looking for somethig apart from your usual game, PS3 is the way to go.

NES forever. The original Nintendo Entertainment System was (and still is) the most enjoyable, innovative, and durable console I have ever used.

I can still rmember the night after me and my brother got our NES. We stayed up all night playing the mini-game hidden in Super Mario 3. I still find it amazing that a mini-game thrown in as an extra on a cartridge could be so much fun.

I still have 2 functioning NES's and all my cartridges. The buttons and d-pads on the controllers still work after 20 years. And yes, I HAVE used an NES controller to hammer a nail into a wall.

No one has mentioned how awesome the Wii is, its accessability and how friendly it is for some reason?

Anyway enough joking around, I can only give my 1 opinion on Consoles. The Ps3 is the best. I give that opinion on the fact that it is the only console I have ever owned and I dont use it, ever.

I have never actually played an NES, but from the games I have bought on my Wii (besides Punch Out) I think it was a really cool console in its prime. Best Kirby game I have ever played (so far) was on there. KIRBY'S ADVENTURE FTW!!!

I still prefer the N64 though. I like the old, blocky graphics that it had.

I'd have to say N64 because back then in terms of games in my opinion it was quality over quantity

I would have to go with N64, me and my bros would always play Goldeneye, Mariocart, and Super Smash Bros. It's definitely my favorite console.

Favorite games : Loz Majora's Mask, Paper Mario, Super Mario 64, Kirby, JetForce Gemini. All great games....
