Well I won't be picking it up at the midnight launch, but would appreciate opinions of people who do as I may grab it in the morning after the reviews hit.

Btw it releases here in 3.5 hours from this post, not sure if that's before or after the rest of the world.

Buy it off da console day uno!

Xbox doesn't get that fun, give it 6 months and GTA will be on the marketplace -.-

PlayStation has the day one thing I would have guessed they did too but I guess not.

No unfortunately Microshaft decided it would be funny to release downloadable games 3-6 months after release and charge the original price, which is usually $30-50 higher than retail price by then

I think GTA V is going to get perfect scores across the board, and is going to be considered one of, if not THE greatest game of all time

or or or, a third option, the game is that good and they genuinely feel that way. Tell me why does it bother you if they think the game is good? The game can't be good? It's a video game! FUN! REMEMBER, FUN?! xD

I'm not denying the game may be good, I'm pointing out magazine reviews are biased point grabbing garbage hoping to get the next exclusive.
Real people experiences are what counts.
I tend to go off user reviews on sites like Metacritic. Not by review, but rather by getting a middle ground feel via them as they have the fanboys and the anti-fanboys.


btw so far, game looks old on old hardware and the frame rate is a bit off at times (360)
And also, why can't I install the whole game rockstar? All I can hear is the disc drive spinning every time a cut-scene comes on!

"Professional Critics" all need to be kidnapped and stranded on an island together so they can all be as pretentious, elitist, smug, and as full-of-themselves as they want. Movie critics are by far the worst of the "Professional" critics, in my opinion, with food critics and game critics coming in at a close second and third.
