Luckily Intelli can easily change the gameplay mechanics, so horses will also spawn on generated chunks

You don't know how long I've been waiting for quartz so I can finish my auto-brewing station and get moderately richer. Horses? Meh. It isn't like they really have any use except looking nice anyway.

actually its something much needed on a legit server like minerealm.

horses need no food to make them follow your commands. hence you can use them forever.
they are faster than steve, ergo we can travel greater distances faster without the need for rails.

however ill agree we also badly need the quartz

Still useless imo, mobs are free to kill including horses, so unless you are going to make sure you have a private area all over the map to make sure you can secure your horse anywhere you go then like I said useless. People are just going to kill them and take their armor/chests/anything they have on them and players will just get angry.

Thanks for the idea though I could make a stable at spawn and charge for it :p

And synta, I bug him almost everyday about it.

Don't get me wrong horse will be cool, but compared to other things we don't have they are at the bottom of the list.

Still useless imo, mobs are free to kill including horses, so unless you are going to make sure you have a private area all over the map to make sure you can secure your horse anywhere you go then like I said useless. People are just going to kill them and take their armor/chests/anything they have on them and players will just get angry.

When the ban requests over people having their horses snipped out from under them start, I'm going to just let the tears from my laughter drown me.

That said, riding horses seems fun, but MC is a sandbox creation game, for the most part at least. Quartz is far more versatile in that sense than horses.

Even though jousting tournaments would be amazing.
