Bought a realm.

I recently bought a realm, which had a couple of chests in with some stuff in mostly junk. How long do i have to wait for the person who owns the stuff to ask for it, before it becomes my stuff. I heard its 14 days/2 weeks. If someone can confirm that for me that would be great.
Also i don't want loads of people commenting saying its their stuff. lol
