This is true, and it should not have devolved into such an argument, but I still think he was a bit too defensive in responding to those criticisms. Mods frequently make players angry (banning someone's friend, rolling back a player, etc etc etc), and sometimes those players lash out (we've even had ban requests posted for staff members who were just doing their jobs). After his defensiveness was pointed out to him, Lardimus became quite a bit more level-headed in this thread, but the fact that defensiveness was his instinctive response in the first place makes me suspect that he would escalate rather than defuse situations where a player is unhappy with his decisions as a mod.

Well said. His defensiveness certainly did recede after being revealed, and that's one of the reasons I think if he actually goes through with the application at this point in time there is still a shot. It seems the 0/10 reputation may have been an error as well, so that also helps out. And no, of course perfect grammar and an extensive vocabulary aren't requirements of being a mod, but it does help.
I think the main point here though, which I emphasized in my first post, was that you should just work on the defensiveness as an initial response for a while, and maybe hold off on the mod app until that improves. That may not be exactly what you'd like to hear, but if you are sincere about becoming a moderator, I think that would be an effective way of increasing your chances of approval.
Oh, that and perhaps your run-on sentences =P Those are your most glaring punctuation errors (or perhaps one of my biggest pet peeves... ) and would neaten up your posts quite nicely.
Everything was just meant to be constructive advice, I apologize if it came off differently =)

I wanted to see what the community think of me, so that in the future if i put in an application, all this didn't happen and that admins times wouldn't be wasted by me prematurely applying.
I want to become a mod to help the server, to help new players etc, I would love to help the server by donating every month, but i cannot afford that right now as i am unemployed. =(
I think nearly every post in this thread that i made, was from my mobile phone.
