I found one during the early testing. The sand was generated badly, so the village was covered in places. I arrived to watch over half the villagers suffocate to death in the ground.

Flattened realms are an abomination

I found an NPC village like 2 minutes after the wipe.

As you can see, not quite as pretty as the one you found...
